👉 ABOUT THE PROJECT
I had the opportunity to art direct the brand identity for an up-and-coming podcast hosted by two women, focusing on blending education with comedy. They wanted a bold, modern, and minimal brand identity that could capture the balance between delivering valuable knowledge and keeping the tone fun and lighthearted.
The challenge was to design a logo that stood out in the crowded podcast space, particularly on Instagram, while maintaining a modern podcast feel. I selected two contrasting typefaces: a bold sans-serif for one line to create a strong, modern presence, and a serif italic for the next line to add a playful and elegant touch. This mix of typography reflected the dual nature of the podcast—serious in its educational mission but light and comedic in delivery.
We opted for a bold red as the main color, bringing energy and confidence to the brand identity and making it memorable and attention-grabbing. The combination of the bold typography and striking color gave the podcast a powerful personality that stands out visually, while the playful serif italics hinted at the humor and lighthearted nature of the content.
The final design is clean, modern, and memorable, perfectly balancing education with comedy and capturing the dynamic energy of the two hosts.
